Saint Sarkis Cathedral, the Armenian Monastery, is located in Tehran. The church is well known because it is the center of Christianity in Tehran and symbol of Christianity in Iran.
The construction of church is built between 1964 and 1970 by the Sarkissian brothers, in the memory of their parents. The church’s building is located at the Karim Khan Street and Villa Street.
The cathedral’s building has a great architecture and every year lots of tourists came by to visit. The only memorial of Armenian Genocide is situated at the courtyard of the cathedral.
