One of the UNESCO sites of Iran that is incredibly fantastic, is the Armenian church named saint Stepanos. This Armenian Monastery that was built originally in the ninth century is located at Jolfa city, East Azerbaijan province. The church has experienced repeated earthquakes and severely damaged the original structure.
The general structure of the st.Stepanos church is the great symbol of Armenian and Georgian architecture. Inside the building is decorated with the great and beautiful paintings of Armenian artists.
